Assessment rates for 2023 will remain the same as 2022. $220 per lot or acre plus $55 parcel charge, with a $275 minimum charge.
Assessment bills will be mailed in late January. Please call the office to verify your mailing address if you do no receive your statement.
Payment is due April 1. Interest and a 10% penalty will be charged on May 1st for any assessments not paid by April 30.
NOTICE OF MEETING OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BENTON IRRIGATION DISTRICT BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll of the Benton Irrigation District is on file at the district office, 47506 N. Highland Road, Benton City, Washington. The Board of Directors of the Benton Irrigation District will meet on the December 6, 2022, at 3 pm at the office of the District, acting as a Board of Equalization to equalize assessments.
The Board will hear and determine dispositions of objections to the assessment roll from now through December 6, 2022, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Please call our office at 509-588-4396 for an appointment during business hours Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
