BID would like to thank everyone who came out to vote. It is important that we all work together to upgrade our system.

1368 votes were cast with 1330 yes and only 38 no.

This vote allows BID to sign an agreement that commits  Reclamation and Ecology to provide 82.5% of the funding required to complete the pressurized system and commits BID to obtain financing for its  17.5% cost share which is about 4.9 million dollars.

Once this new pressurized system is completed the District will have a legal contract for 68.9% senior water rights. 

The new pressurized system will provide a water turnout to every irrigable tax parcel in our District uniformly.
