ALL DELIVERIES HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO DELIVER 5.82 GPM PER ACRE DISTRICT WIDE.

ANYONE THAT TAMPERS OR MODIFIES THEIR DELIVERIES WILL BE SHUT OFF AND WILL NOT BE TURNED BACK ON UNTIL ATTENDING A DISTRICT BOARD MEETING AND PAYING ALL COSTS TO RESTORE THE POINT OF DELIVERY TO THE ORIGINAL CONDITION.

IF YOU HAVE A FILTER ON YOUR DELIVERY, IT MUST BE LEFT IN PLACE WHILE YOU’RE RUNNING WATER.  THIS FILTER IS TO PROTECT THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE.  THE COST OF THIS VALVE, IF DAMAGED BY RUNNING WITHOUT THE FILTER IN PLACE, WILL BE BILLED TO THE WATER USER.

IF WE FIND YOUR FILTER HAS BEEN REMOVED YOUR SERVICE WILL BE SHUT OFF UNTIL ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO REINSTATE YOUR WATER.

THE PROPERTY OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE TO CLEAN THE FILTER.  IF YOU NEED TRAINING ON HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FILTER, PLEASE CALL US AT (509) 588-3510.  WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP.  IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO CLEAN YOUR FILTER, WE WILL CLEAN IT FOR YOU.

If your water is shut off for non payment you will be charged a $50.00 turn on fee.

BID Foreman

Benton Irrigation District will no longer be accepting water assessment payments at the BID office. All payments will have to be sent directly to the Benton County Treasurer at 5600 W Canal Dr STE A, Kennewick, WA 99336 an envelope is included with your assessment bill for your convenience. There is also a drop box for your payment in front of Benton City Hall.

The District strongly encourages water users to contact the billing office if you have not received your assessment bill by the end of January to confirm that your billing information is correct.
